Is a Money Disconnect Unconsciously Blocking Your Income in Your Photography or Creative Business?
Having an internal disconnect with how you feel and thus act with where you want to be, and act, is often a major roadblock my clients feel.
When we start working together and we are goal mapping for them, I always ask- what is your main goal with coaching?
98% of the time they answer 'to make more money in my business’.
Great, awesome, making money is so fun.
Then once we dig in, they assume they aren't making more money because they don't know that super-secret-industry-guru strategy and they want that secret. But really, it's because their internal disconnect with how they are spending and receiving money is the reason they are not advancing in that department.
If you're trying to sell something that is not a 'need', but you are only allowing yourself to purchase things that are a 'need'- there's a subconscious money disconnect.
If they aren't willing to advance themselves or buy things for joy, then are asking others to do the same for them, it's a disconnect. And to be frank, I am not even talking about anything expensive, just anything that is not a direct ‘need’ that will bring VALUE to their lives, they aren’t doing. But, that’s what they are selling.
I just got a walking treadmill I have been eyeing for a while to add to my indoor gym (aka the corner of our home offices that has turned into a gym haha). Do I need it? No. But will it make me feel good to walk and work, to walk indoors as the rainy season is upon us here in Iceland, and to walk whenever I feel restless? Yes.
When you feel good you make different decisions.
Your brain looks at what's happening to you and around you differently and then makes you react differently.
