How Success Stacking Can Help You Bet On Yourself. | Performance Coach for Powerhouse Multi-Hyphenates

I get asked "WHY did you move to Iceland" almost every time I meet a new Icelander.

My answer is always "the nature, weather, and feeling peace that I've never felt before being here."

They always respond "the weather?!!"

Yes, the weather. I love moody skies, I'm an amateur meteorologist and geologist (lol not really I'm just obsessed). I love cold. I don't like the sun touching me.

I get asked by people who don't live here "HOW did you move to Iceland?"

I don't talk about that often, mostly because I feel kinda braggy when I go over the qualifications I had to hit to be granted permission, but, it is a bit special.

I was able to move to Iceland because of the successes I had created in my life prior to moving to Iceland.

The process for the government to grant me permission to immigrate here was by them deeming me a "special" person.

I owe it all to my business and creating something truly different. My immigration lawyer who helped me piece together the massive application said she's never seen anyone in Iceland do what I do HOW I do it.

(In fact, the last meeting we had for my permanent residency application she said she's noticed how many new people are now clearly trying to copy me haha)

  • It's because I forged my own path in business that I was able to be granted permission to live here. I forged my own path by combining my multi-hyphenate talents together into one unique service.

  • It's because I leaned into an experience-based company that I was able to move here. Art is meant to be experienced, and as a performance coach now, I help others hone their talents & skills to offer an experience at their very best, creative expression.

  • It's because I am an artist of recognizable, awarded, and published skill I was able to immigrate here. With letters of recommendation from celebrities to locals written on my behalf + photocopying every single magazine I've been published in, blog, album art, fashion show lanyards, everythingggggg I've done/been in. As a multi-hyphenate, this is one of our best assets is gaining experience and awards through many mediums.

  • It’s because of me stacking my successes and multi-hyphenate talents within my business model I was able to afford to move to another country.

I owe it all to my business model and multi-hyphenate talents and interests, and pursuit of my top performance, that I have had the privilege to immigrate to another country of my own choosing (which I fully recognize is a privilege).

I owe it all to having a high-end experience business model I was able to also be a homeowner (w/ Hlynur) in Iceland (and qualified to get a home loan as being self-employed- something back in my 20’s I never thought would happen).

At one point in my life I didn't have a home to live in, I was $-2400 in overdraft fees that I owed to the bank, and I ate out of Panera dumpsters. I’ve come a long way over adversity and honestly, because of that, that’s why I love to help people with the power of coaching.

I owe personal development, having the guts to bet on myself, coaching, and my business model to everything I am now.

Success Stacking as a multi-hyphenate is part of the process of being a multi-hyphenate. We sometimes get caught up in the usual model of the industry which is to find your niche, go down a narrow path, and do one thing well. If I hadn’t followed the natural flow of being in many genres and mediums, I probably wouldn’t have been able to move to Iceland.

If I hadn’t learned how to perform at my peak in my art forms and how to build my business the way I did with my art, I probably wouldn’t have been able to move here.

What are some goals you want to hit that you can start stacking your successes to back you up?
